MetaVidWiki (MVW) is a free extension of MediaWiki – the wiki-system powering Wikipedia – that enables community engagement with audio/visual media assets and associative temporal metadata. Metavid extends the SemanticMediaWiki extension and adds three interfaces to mediawiki: Stream MetaEditor, Media Search and Media Sequencer

Mv_Embed is a stand alone library for in-browser playback of ogg theora developed for metavidWiki but useful for other projects.

Metavid is build on many open source projects. Metavid builds on the Annodex technology set.
